BERLINRODEO[lab] was part of the official iF Design Award 2026 press tour. A talk by Emell Gök Che, a gala at the Friedrichstadt-Palast, and the Lifetime Achievement Award for Patricia Urquiola.
On 27 April 2026, the iF Design Award 2026 gala took place at the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin.
BERLINRODEO[lab] was part of the official press tour, hosting international press and guests from around the world at the LAB. An intense, inspiring exchange followed.
A particular highlight was the talk by our longtime friend Emell Gök Che on the theme "Beyond Aesthetics" — a compelling look at how far design reaches beyond pure form.
The personal high point of the evening was the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Patricia Urquiola — a figure who has shaped design profoundly over decades.
